What if a payer does not accept electronic claims?
That’s not a problem.  You have two choices:

  1. MCC can handle your paper claims at a charge of 44 cents each. To reduce errors and speed claim payment, we will run your paper claims through a set of paper claim edits.
  2. You can print your paper claims yourself in your office and mail them.

Do you work with my patient accounting system?
MCC has an excellent working knowledge of the major patient accounting systems. If your system can produce a print image, NSF or 837, MCC can probably work with your software.

Who can I receive Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) from? Do you have a list?
MCC has the ability to provide your ERA files from most major payers. Click here to view the MCC ERA Payer List.

How do I know my claims were received at MCC?
MCC provides clients with a full audit trail. We assign a confirmation number to each file you transmit and send reports back to you so you can verify all transmissions.

Do your prices include client support?
Yes. No matter which pricing option you choose, all client support is included in your monthly fee. You can call as often as you need to and talk as long as it takes to solve any concerns you have.

How often can I send claims to MCC? And when can I send them?
Send your claims to MCC as often as you like, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

How often does MCC send claims to the payers?
We transmit claims every business day starting at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Can I send my claims over the Internet?
Yes. We’ll accept all your transactions over the Internet with our HIPAA secure website.

Does MCC accept ZIP files?
Yes. Please notify our client support team and we will make the necessary arrangements.
