Yes, MCC has a listing of all payers we send claims to. MCC
Payer List.
What if a payer does not accept
electronic claims?
Then you have 2 choices. You may have MCC handle your paper claims (at a
charge of $.39 each). MCC will run your paper claims through the same edits
as your electronic claims. Or, you may print them yourself, in your office
and mail.
Do you work with my Patient Accounting
System?
MCC has an excellent working knowledge of many Patient Accounting Systems.
If your system can produce either a Print Image or NFS, chances are, MCC
can work with your software.
How do I know my claims were received at
MCC?
MCC has a full audit trail for you to follow. A confirmation number is
assigned to each file transmitted to MCC and reports are sent back to you
to verify transmissions.
Does that price include Customer Support?
No matter which pricing option you choose, all Customer Support is included
in your monthly fee.
How often can I send claims to MCC?
You may send claims to MCC as often as you like. Each file you send has a
unique file name! You may send claims to MCC 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
How often does MCC send claims to the
payers?
MCC transmits claims every business day starting at 1:00 p.m.
Do I have to pay a Toll charge every
time I transmit claims to MCC?
NO, you transmit claims, call for Customer Service or call into our Sales
Dept. on our TOLL FREE line. Our customers never pay a toll charge to do
business with us!
Can I send my claims over the Internet?
Yes, Medical Claim Corp. can now accept all your transactions over the
internet with our secure web site.
Does MCC have the ability to accept a
ZIP file?
Yes, MCC can accept a ZIP file. Please notify our Customer Support Team and
we will make the necessary arrangements.
Are there
any claims that CAN NOT go electronically?
In most states, Worker's Comp and Private Injury claims
can not be transmitted electronically. Also, secondary claims can not go
electronically, they will however, crossover if the primary claim is set up
to handle this function
