History of Medical Claim Corp.

Back in the late 1980's, the co-founders of Medical Claim Corp., Renee Adie and David Johndrow, were busily developing electronic billing software for a small medical products firm that provided medical supplys to patients in nursing homes. This company then billed the Medicare directly for these supply's electronically.

After several years of successfully doing these types of transactions, Dave and Renee felt that the expertise that they had developed could be used to assist other providers trying to accomplish these same electronic transactions.

August 15,1990, Medical Claim Corp. was incorporated and began developing comprehensive claim editing and transmission programs for the medical provider.

Over the years, MCC has had choices to make on how it would conduct business and a need to define who it's customers are. Having been providers themselves with the small medical products company, it was clear that Dave and Renee would remain on the provider side. Many other clearinghouses have chosen to have the insurance companies as their customers never really providing support and services with provider satisfaction as the end result. Providers have always been our primary focus and history has proven that we were right.
